Psychotherapy
What is psychotherapy?
Integrative Psychotherapy is a relationship-based approach that focuses the therapeutic collaboration between client and therapist. It combines different approaches, like cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, somatic, and humanistic therapies to create a personalised treatment plan. This flexibility allows the therapist to adapt to the client's unique needs. Providing you with a toolbox rather than just one tool.

Psychotherapy is a journey of self-exploration, providing a space for clients to learn new coping mechanisms and improve relationships with themselves, others, and the world. Rather than focusing solely on problem-solving, therapy empowers individuals to become better problem solvers.
What happens in the first session?
Our initial session will provide an opportunity for us to establish rapport and discuss your presenting concerns. We will explore your relevant history, available resources, and your therapeutic goals. This meeting will allow you to assess the suitability of our therapeutic relationship. Feel free to share your thoughts and questions openly, you only have to share what you are comfortable sharing and everything is confidential. It is important to note that you are not expected to have all the answers at this initial meeting.
